Zack,

You took one hell of a leap there from bisexuality to pedophilia. Not a very reasonable position to argue from. One involves consenting adults and the other involves a child which, incapable of being consenting, is a victim. How two consenting adults get off in the privacy of their own home is their business.

A-OKAY

Judging by the content of your posts ....

You need a big-time reality check.

Congratulations on offending a significant portion of the population and an attitude becoming of a racist.

Sorry for the off-topic post.

Mr. Lyon, the qualities I look for in other people AND seek to emulate are:

KINDNESS, COMPASSION, TOLERANCE, HONOR & HUMOR.

In my "book" anyone who exhibits the above traits is "A-OKAY" with me, regardless of their sexuality.

Diana

Dear Zack,

The following may be your opinion, and one which seems to be based on some real anger and confusion on your part:

>> BISEXUALITY is twisted. Who here will disagree?<<

As such, it is an emotional response and not one based on clear thinking without prejudice.

The human experience of individuality belongs within an infinite spectrum. There is great variety and subtlety to individuality, and unfortunately bias and bigotry and prejudice define this individuality in ways that are harmful not only to the ones who are condemned by it but to the bigots themselves.

It is interesting that more and more today, psychotherapy recognizes that the presence of prejudice and bigotry are very real barriers to the achievement of the goals of therapy. This is true for those who are suffering from both sides of the issue. Spiritual growth, for individuals and for society, depends on the willingness to examine prejudice and then to transcend it.

Myself, I always think it is best to continue asking ourselves the questions that make us the most uncomfortable...so that we may gain some insight and freedom from the tyranny of negative and harmful emotional response to life and its expressions of individuality.

Best,
Charliss

hmmmmm,, I'd have to agree with you to a point,, It's the act I find disturbing,, not so much the people......but I guess in some ways they're one and the same.....I think the U.S. military has a fair policy....as long as it's not seen/heard they don't care. One issue that I don't think gets enough attention (but is just starting to) is homosexual behavior in correctional institutions, by some estimates as many as 10% of the prison population has engaged in homosexual behavior ( I've heard as high as 25%) many against their will, which I feel is the biggest bunch of s*#! it's one thing to be incarcerated but to be exposed to the threat of homosexual violence is unthinkable,, the law needs to step in and stop this crap,, besides that I could really care less.
