Trey may not have said it as "sensitively" as you would have liked but I think all he is saying is that coded and enforced morality- i.e. our laws - should be the "Mc Law" of the land. It needs to be bland consensus law and will by its very definition ("consensus") piss off all extremists of any ilk because that is the nature of extremists. Moderates of all stripes fear extremists, with good reason I might add.

jeff--

good point. i dont mind them submitting their viewpoint i just wish they would set up their own party and go from there.

if the majority in this country want a theocracy then i can only pray that those of us who actually believe in jefferson and the ideals of the framers of the constitution will be able to stop them. if not, hasta la vista...its not the country i grew up in, and its not the country i want to live in.

what sickens me about the CC is that they USE religion to justify their beliefs. its not about faith or any of the other things religion is supposed to be about, its about power, ambition and control. and i dont want it in MY party.

good luck to all,
trey

Good grief - this is a stock and option discussion thread - not a religious forum ... please ! I believe there are some other threads that would be delighted if you take this up over there.
