MediaRep Unveils Web Site Advertising Network

SAN FRANCISCO, Nov. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- MediaRep, a division of Z.Com, today
announced the debut of the MediaRep Web Site Advertising Network (
mediarep.com ).

MediaRep represents advertising space on the new Z.Com portal ( z.com
), hundreds of radio station web sites, and over 1500 affiliated radio station
portal sites known collectively as the World Network. Charter advertisers
include Hilton Hotels, 1-800-Flowers, Cybermeals, and Netscape Communications
Corp.

"The synergy between radio and the web creates an ideal medium for
advertisers," said Jeff Gold, CEO of Z.Com. "Radio listeners have strong
station loyalties and will frequent Internet advertisers associated with their
favorite station."

MediaRep offers banner packages, sponsorship opportunities, and listings in
the popular Holiday Shopping Guide section of Z.Com and affiliated portals.

"We expect to serve one billion ad impressions within 12 months," said Gold.
"Last month MediaRep Network sites served over 150 million hits."

MediaRep's World Network portals integrate content from Z.Com as well as
search capabilities from several major search engines including Yahoo Inc.,
Excite Inc., Snap by CNET Inc., NetFind by America Online Inc., and HotBot by
Lycos Inc.

While the MediaRep Advertising Network is a new undertaking, Z.Com's World
Network and FM Net divisions have been providing web services to over 2000
radio stations for several years.

"All six of our ABC sites have been with World Network for over three years,"
said Kristen Gordon, new media manager for ABC Radio Minneapolis. "In the
Internet world that says a lot about professionalism, dependability, and the
partnership we have created together."

Z.Com and MediaRep are the latest projects from high-tech entrepreneur Gold.
Prior to launching Z.Com, Gold founded several other successful internet
businesses including FM Net, Musictown, Go Chat!, and Go.Com. The Walt Disney
Co. acquired the Go.Com domain from Gold earlier this year for a joint venture
with Infoseek Corp.

MediaRep will compete with advertising networks by DoubleClick Inc. and 24/7
Media, Inc.

Custom versions of Communicator and Navigator products, by Netscape
Communications Corp., will be available for free download from many MediaRep
sites. MediaRep sites also function well with Internet Explorer from
Microsoft Corp., and are fully compatible with browsers running on Macintosh
and iMac computers from Apple Computer Inc.
