Seagate Technology Inc. (SEG) 29 1/8 +1 7/16: Gruntal & Co. upgrades disk drive maker from "hold" to "strong buy" with a 12-month price target of $36 a share; finds optimism that some of the excesses in factory capacity are getting wrung out of the system and SEG is beginning to focus on core competencies, exiting unprofitable businesses, while getting in-step with the PC industry.....

W.E: If a MM is going to short SEG would you look at the bollinger bands as to where his/her target low is? What I'm looking at is the bands on a 4 and 6 month charts. Right now the lower band on SEG is showing on my chart to be some odd 21 and change which of course will adjust up but is quite a spread.
I suppose nothing can be taken from the bands until the trend breaks but it's getting interesting.
The moving average is also interesting because of the gap up. Looking at the chart history.
If the fall is coming {?} I'd have to think it'll be rapid.
BUT what the hell do I know I bailed to soon. I think I'll let things lay and go have breakfast with my friend Prudent Fear.))

Have a Day
Dave

ps: I'm just a touch skeptical of this market, how quickly we forget.
Like memories a strange thing. For instance, women and child berth. If they remembered the pain from the first would they consider having a second?
