Gunnar, I have not yet seen any description of the rock competence for this location. 100 meters of very hard rock would have ahigh cost.
The only indication is the comment that the hole was "mineralised" all the way down. If this means heavily carbonated and weathered some or all of this overburden might be rippable by clawed bulldozers and this will save a huge amount of money in stripping the overburden away.
