the american people have spoken, the republicans have overreached and paid a price and the issue should die a slow death.. I believe that the Republicans got what they deserved for caving in and compromising on every important issue. Where's the major tax reform? What's with the budget fiasco where they basically gave Clinton everything he wanted and got nothing back in return, just so they wouldn't be called "obstructionists"? If a party has a clear majority and is afraid to use it because they'll be called "mean-spirited" or other names then they don't deserve to hold on to it.
