Well bp, as Ive said many times before, the republicans with their unwielding social values agenda, which coincedentally seems to exclude every minority (some of whom are now majorities in Ca) leaves the moderates with NO CHOICE BUT TO VOTE DEMOCRATIC.

The problem is, even when this point is clear, hammered home as they say, as it was yesterday, the republican leadership goes into a state of denial about it.

Do you think the Bushes won on right vs. wrong and christian values where they campaign in all white churches and put ads on TV that insinuate the president is scum for having an affair? If thats what the republicans continue to trick themselves into believing (as it appears Dan Quayle was doing last night) then they will continue to lose.

It doesnt make me happy because I dont want big government but Im not willing to go back to the 50s regardless of how many taxes I have to pay.
