The quarry is on the southwest edge of the mountain that was believed to be the motherlode of the erosional material that filled the Black Rock Basin. This mountain has also been rolled over with older rock on top. Since it's sitting on the edge of the basin fill and is near the heart of Black Rock North there should be some verification of the IPM model. Don't you think? What do you mean by "free gold?" Is it alluvial gold like you'd pan from a stream? If so, then why do they need to blast and dig?
