Glenn, this is a sincere question:

If you disbelieve in amzn so much, why do you spend so much time here? Is it because
your investment style is sometimes/mostly/exclusively short and you think this is the best
short in the market? (hoping for a sincere response....)

Robert,

This is a sincere answer:

I lost more money on AMZN being short last spring then I ever lost on any trade. I believed at that time, that AMZN was grossly over priced. Otherwise, I would not have shorted at that point and so many shares.

I am not a believer in a conspiracy as are some. I do believe in a lot of hyping by analysts of the underwriting companys. I spend more time watching AMZN then any other security yet I do have a lot of long positions in other stocks mostly in the networking sector.

I have a personal goal to gain back and turn a profit on AMZN as an entity in itself. AMZN is so volitile it is a great trading vehicle which was not my style six months ago. It is now with this stock. I plan to be active in this stock through its complete demise.

Secondly, my style is typically long plays. This may help explain my inexperience with my short here back last spring. I intend to learn how to do this correctly.

I hope you understand my position. By the way as a side note, I did short KTEL yesterday but that is a little play.

Glenn
