The impeachment will go forward and it will slaughter the Republican's who the voters will blame for the whole thing I don't think the republicans are that stupid. I'm just wondering how they'll back off with honor. They really have gotten themselves into quite a corner now. The democrats might get so emboldened by the results to even fight censure at this point! Perhaps the dems should compromise and allow for censure so we don't get into a ridiculous recrimination cycle.
