Hi Frank - What's the legislation by the regulators we must be on the alert for? Does the FCC have a unilateral decision on this matter or does Congress have to approve these new guidelines (perhaps in some committee?). I hope it is the former as from everything that I have read is that the FCC wants to deregulate ASAP. We all know that the RBOC's and AT&T have billions of $'s ready to invest and the clock is ticking at Internet time. I noticed that AFCI (Advanced Fibre Optics fibre.com announced interest from Bell Atlantic for their high band (6.2 Gbps)WAN type system last week. Perhaps this is one of several high band systems Bell Atlantic is proto typing before they committ to the CIEN's DWDM system. EKS
