Exactly. A steadily-performing bellweather stock like Intel might be a boring stock to talk about, but it's sure an excellent stock to hold for a very long time, especially if you cost-average your way in.

AMD is a perfect example of an overly-hyped stock. If you play your cards right, you can emerge as a huge winner. But if you hold on the hype, you will be burned big time by that same hype. This is my humble opinion.
