<<1 ounce = 28.35 grams >>

Robert,

This is an "avdp" (avoir du poids) ounces...not a troy ounces.

Miners use the troy ounces in their calculations.

1 troy ounces = 31.103 g.
1 gram = .032 troy ounces

Robert, please check your math. One ounce for precious metals, that is a troy ounce, equals 31.103 grams not 28.35 grams as you have stated. You are talking about avoirdupois measurements. Please acknowledge. SI is a place for exact knowledge only.
