The report was certainly pathetic. I suppose when there wasn't further selling on the news (better than doubled estimated loss) there was a short-killer raid. It also may be a top pick in the "Toxic Waste" strategy.

Yup, and I agree that APM is luxuriating in a feeding frenzy on small caps that has been especially kind to the tech stocks, and a little move in APM can trigger a short squeeze. But one note. There are reports of MR head shortages. If so, this could force OEMs to relax quals and open the field to more then a couple of vendors. It is an extremely long shot and I would not be tempted to join those who are bottom fishing APM but it is the only glimmer of hope that I have seen. If it were not for this report I would likely be shorting APM again.
