Hello Barry : Well, another trying week comes to a close, time to relax, spend some time with the family.

I'll check with you next week. The market is being fueled by the profit taking in the US debt markets. The yield curve is un---flating so the signs are not hard to follow; remains to be seen if the markets react traditionally. As for now. Don't fight the Fed. The employment report this week was weak. The signs do not point to a turning point. In Christ. Thank you for your wonderful spirit and the sensitivity you add to this medium. God Bless.

Hello Barry : How has the Lord been blessing ? Hopefully very abundantly. I have heard several of my Christian friends, especially bobby berra, give all sorts of warnings on the market lately. So while I hate to join the crowd and pull out on a 200 + down day I went 50 % into cash today. I pulled out of the em mkt bonds the oil scv sector( sadly three weeks too late with a small loss ) and all of the russell 2000 and naz positions I was in. I am still in REIT's hy yi bonds and a little gold stocks.

I have always thought Dec would be a terrible month for the market , since the run up of the last 6 weeks was going to prove unsustainable. I kind of hate to see this thread deteriorate to the point of it becoming a chronicle of moves in the market but I feel that if necessary I would use it as such just as a reference for a few people that several years later may want to go back and see how the Lord championed some moves in a very tricky market. I do pray always that the Lord would lead and guide and I simply say again that Dec will be a very volatile and consolidating month. I intend to look for another entry point later in the month, but I would hope that the market not give up all of it's gains of the last 6 weeks.

I wish to thank the Lord for sending in a lot of past due accounts in my business the last two weeks and for enabling me to make my SEP contribution for the year , 1998.

God Bless----I would love to hear what the Lord has been telling you lately---every road is different but the destination is all the same, at least for Christians ( HEAVEN )...In Christ.gregor
