Joe, I understand your view. I got in initially at 13.5, then cost-averaged at 5 3/8. So, my break-even is about 8. Technology stocks are, especially for new technologies, very risky. I believe that Westell has an even-money shot at good market penetration, but profitability or capital infusion (hopefully not at shareholders expense) must come soon.

Opportunities (IMHO)
1) BAL - May turn out to be the biggest opportunity
2) GTE - Doubtful ... appears to be a Fujitsu/ORCTF(sp?) win
3) LU - Uses everyone ... (LU wins/everyone else loses)
4) BT - Does Westell have the horses to service this account?

Are you talking about yourself. Shame on you if you bought up at the top when this was just a story stock tech play which rarely pays off buying after a big runup.

Joe,

Believe me bud, I know what your talking about! I think my average price per share is somewhere around 11 or 12 or something like that. I quit averaging down when it began to look like I was just throwing good money after bad. I just figured there would be some comment on today's action. Good, bad or otherwise. Really wasn't looking for whoopee <g>.

We just may stand a chance if (big if) the take rate in those additional 60 cites of BA's is more than everyone expects. That is if BA REALLY does have those cites ready to go by years end (another big if). They ARE using CAP in those cites arn't they? Personally, I think there's a chance that of that happening. I'm hoping that the consumer demand for ADSL in all those cites is so large that that in and of itself will be a big story. Wishfull thinking? Maybe so, time will tell.
