Hey, you're preaching to the choir here, you won't get any argument from me on that score. Once the dems come down from their "win" here, they will be looking at the potential of a Texas Bush and maybe a Libby Dole candidacy for their guy Gore. Republican party needs a shakeout at the top, and that imo, should include Lott. BTW, I just a heard a report that one of the reasons why Republicans didn't win as expected was that your dreaded RR stayed home for the most part. It seems that they are po'd that Lott and co. caved in the budget negotiations and no real tax cuts were forthcoming as promised. Somebody was sending a message alright, but it wasn't about BC per se, I hope Republicans heard it loud and clear, get off their duffs and start legislating some real tax reform. bp
