Joey,
<<My favorite short is WMT. At $ 70 it's only 3% off its all time high of $ 72>>
Thank you Joey and I will take a look. Just hope market cools down soon so I can get out most of my shorts. A timing problem when I sold longs and sold shorts too early. Except softwares in database (partly w/ the demand for fixing Y2K) I see the softenning demand in other careers, I guess jobless is hard to find new job, and the cost of living is up not down. No one wants a slowdown but if that happens I guess the pain is awsome in society. I just hunch that more money flows into stocks thru 401K and index funds, more and more white collars work as shoppers and thus can not rely on Social Security or company pension. Only when economy slows down more then a double whammy, they will take out IRA/401K to get thru the hard times. Just 2 cents.
