Hey Chief

I will give the reporter a call tomorrow. Maybe a bad write-up on Canadian Brokers and the service we get will help get things moving. I now refuse to enter a trade unless I fully believe it is going to move .75 or more. I would love to flip stocks for .20-.30, but with the time delays it is just to risky for my blood.

A couple of days ago Kevin mentioned Priority Broker and the speed of execution when using PCQuotes (I think he said a couple of seconds. For everyone that doesn't know - PCQuotes is Canada Stockwatch's nearest competitor. PCQuotes offer a slightly better intra day charting compared to CSW but lacks many features that make CSW stand out (i.e. trade workstation). It also cost $500/month compared to $100/month for CSW, although you do get NASDAQ Level II with PCQuotes.

PCQuotes has built order execution directly into the charting program similar to trading programs in the U.S (e.g. cybertrader). If you have a Priority Brokerage account you can enter trades directly into PCQuotes and they will get executed. Although it sound great I took this from the news release announcing this.

Paul Bates, President & CEO of Priority Brokerage, said "This innovation will further increase market transparency, and will not only give individual Canadian investors the same tools the professional traders use, but also will allow them to trade almost as quickly as professional traders. As well, orders will still be reviewed by experienced representatives

If the orders are still being reviewed by so called experienced representatives there is no way that I am trading almost as quickly as professional traders. And for that matter, I would consider anyone of us that sits at home and day trades for a living a professional trader since trading is our profession.

Best Regards
KEITH

Another problem I find is that if I have two windows opened; one on SI let's say, and one on my Greenline page waiting to input a trade. I often get logged out if there is a delay of a certain time. It is aggravating that I have to log back in which invariably ends up costing $$$$$$ and opportunity.
