There were more sellers than buyers today I was watching the trading very very closely today. Even though the stock closed lower than the open (11 3/4 vs. 12) the slide from 12 3/4 to 11 3/4 was on about 120k of the 500k that traded, ie., BTIM spent most of the day being bought from what I could tell. I also examined a one minute chart and the volume dried up on the dips and the tape ran heavy in the rallies. There were certainly sellers today but my general impression is that BTIM longs were not quick to sell. Perhaps new shorts entered the fray. : ) Jim
