It's been a long time for CPQ, for understandable reasons. I thought I remembered it once being a momentum vehicle I used to trade/hold. That post showed I was right! Now I am doing the same with CMGI, an internet 'incubator', with interest from MSFT. I made over 2k today, with 400 shares. Have the nets taken over this mo-mo job? I'd like to see things go pretty well during these holidays! Seems there's no way to know. I think a good deal is having to do with sentiment of the buyer or lack thereof.. We have heard buy, strong buy, reccomendation, reiteration, over and over and over. I wonder if the last one from DLJ had anything to do with the soon to follow election jitters. I have waited over a year and a half with other stocks, and they did ok for me so far, I've waited a year with CPQ, and got out of a ridiculous position, and into a lesser one (200 @ 35)Still dead money is all it's cracked up to be. Heh, John Manley is also recommending CPQ as I type. Just need some action. Is there a curse????
