One day surges have come and gone and may just involve a single buyer. A two day surge suggests there may be something more, and if volume is heavy Thursday then it suggests we may get some News/statement this week or early next week.

If volume is over 100k+ by lunchtime Thursday then I'll be very curious to see if there is some imminent News/statement - and if so - what it's all about.

There's just so much to choose from: US Navy order, ICI order, K-G Packaging update, "the mystery and not quite an airline in the true sense, but a big player nonetheless with lots and lots of planes and vehicles - that will be named by Napier soon enough - not by moi this time", Aquasol update, Cessna update, update on the "owner of above ground storage tanks that will use SV-35 to clean the insides of their tanks - referred to in the April 21 News - which I and some others later learned to be Amoco", the Japanese mutli-national that wants the rights to market the Napier product line in Japan (another name that's not for me to give out), the car manufacturer that I and some others learned was testing the product line - which I posted ages ago was none other than Ford, to even an early release of the 97/98 year end and 98/99 Q1 financial statements, to name just a few potential reasons behind the current volume surge.

Whatever the reason for this surge - if it is substantive and if it continues Thursday and possibly into early next week - then it could be due to any one of the above or other factor(s).

In any case, it's now just a matter of waiting and watching the volume ticker spinning much faster than usual.

David.
