Hi William, Oh how I agree with you! After becoming aware of what it is I think and feel-the content of my mind-and if I can see the truth of how this affects everything and everyone, including myself, then I have to ask myself if I am willing to change...really, to choose differently. Not will I choose differently- but simply, am I willing to change or choose differently. It is really a discipline, and not an easy one for the lazy and habit-ridden mind. However, to say quietly to myself that today I am open and willing.... Open to see people and events as they might be without imposing the contents of my mind on them.... Willing to choose differently should I see people and events differently... If we must be "right" always, then we end up "dead right," for we lose the sense of aliveness that only comes from love, adventure, and awe- the things that do not come from bias and prejudice.
