When I say "christian values" (in quotes) I mean the party platform brees. I should use the ©, christian values©. Thats what I mean. Well lets see, if a worker comes here from india to work, and leaves their family at home (which is pretty much always the case from what Ive seen, due to green cards etc), then is that consistent with family values©? Gee were destroying these families in india arent we when we bring someone over here to work. Oh but since our industries need it, and the wealthy republican constituency has lobbied for it, I guess we should throw out the family values© just this one time. Oh but for our own citizens, thats different, the family matters.

So now Christians are against Asians? Amazing. BTW, while I'm not affiliated with any "christian" religious organization, I do contribute to a domestic relief organization and an international relief organization. Both of those groups are "christian". My husband and I sponsor children (Asian, Latino, African, American and now European) with monthly checks for food and clothing and education. I wonder if I should stop those payments, I did not realize until after today (Thanks Michelle!) that these people were so anti- everything and everyone except their lily white selves. I think I've been duped. bp
