I've had enough convincing. I sold some SPYders and put it into a small cap fund today. Caution: I could be a contrary indicator and this could mark the end of the run in the small caps!

Good move! We've only just begun with the small caps. Articles and analysts are popping up everywhere saying this sector is ripe to pop. I think they will create a self-fulfilling projection. I sure hope so! There are some excellent small caps companies out there waiting for Mr. Market to notice them.

Ka Ching!

What fund are you looking at, if you don't mind sharing? I got into Brinker's recommended Montgomery U.S. Emerging (mnmcx) on Sept. 19 -- up 11% since then. Sept. 19 was a time when I would have been happy for an 11% return for an entire year. Now, of course, good ol' American greed has set in and I want 15% by year's end.

Mark, welcome to the small cap group. Perhaps the following article from Joe Battapaglia might give you some security. Small cap. new highs by the end of this year? We'll see. Jeff

Marc: I was wondering when you were going to cave to the small cap temptation.

In an effort to shamelessly promote ourselves to the exclusion of our bad calls, we recommended small cap overweighting here on October 19th. Here is one simple rule: the more the Fed. eases, the more we are assured of small cap outperformance. All that liquidity will have to find a new home. And the quicker we get back to old valuation levels on the DOW and S & P, the more likely we will see a liquidity overflow to small cap land.

Sold my margined SPYs today at the close. Risk/reward was beginning to favor risk in the short term especially since I was on margin.

Great sentiment numbers. A lot of bears still do not know what hit them. They are standing on the sidelines in CASH or SHORT. Ouch.
