Lance

I've been lurking on this thread for a few months. My first buy of MNTG was 2 days before anouncement of buying vegas properties.Straight down after that.I've made several buys 1 9/16 was lowest. My point being I have several thousand shares.I was affraid to buy more before earning came out. After I saw earnings I was trying like hell to buy more @ 2 9/16 this morning.DATEK was not working and I could not get in before 2 3/4.I was peeved but bought more today.People will be buying in the next few days.
This stock was 3 7/16 before buying vegas hotels(only lost .02),earnings way up, future earnings, not loss from vegas. What more do we need?I live 20 minutes from Chester and this place is very busy.]
People who do not yet follow MNTG will soon notice!

Lance, I will answer your question in two words
WERE EARLY!!!
+1/4 gain is like GM going up 2 1/2 points.10.1% gain today.
This stock is not widely followed. The company does not put out
a lot of hype.

Please go back to the thread introduction written by Mr.James
Strauss.On March 8,1997.We were looking for $1.25 a share.Now
were looking for $3.00.
Unless you hit it just right. There is no quick money here.

At one point just a few weeks ago all of my MNTG stock was at a loss
today half of my position is in the black. The other half is in the red.

I do not think there will be to much tax loss selling.Stock is only
off 7/8 from its yearly high.Stock is tightly held.

Jay is right small stocks are coming back.

Final statement
As we seen before, when the stock crosses the $3.00 line It's a whole new ball game.

Jerry G or anyone else. What's going on in the State of PA are they
a real threat to our WVA property or is this yahoo PENN board hype.

Lance,
MNTG I believe will take a little longer to move than other small cap stocks.
First ya gotta figure it is rather small. About three years ago Lance it had different management and had some problems.
It really appears to be set up more for steady solid growth than fast moves that draw too much attention.
Lastly the past couple of months with the gaming stocks being out of favor it may take a bit for things to get moving well! When they do though with MNTG I figure it'll be solid moves!
I got other stuff that I'd love to see jam up hard but in the long run it seems to cause more confusion than growth.
It would be nice and I hear ya on the venting!
7 to 10 dollars a share sounds nice to me, but I figure if we get past 3 1/2 then we'll make some big moves but I think we're gonna have to do that first buddy.
That's about all I can offer! It don't make the price go up any faster but I hope it helps! Just give it a little more time and you should get the results we are all looking forYour buddy,
Jay

I was reading the message board over in Yahoo, just though you guys would enjoy this one:

"The 4th qtr is always slow. Anybody have any VLT numbers for October?

Notice the NV properties were a net drag of $.02 because of closure/remodeling. NV has also been a net drag on the stock price b/c of uncertainty. We can now see that the $0.02 drag should go away, and by 99Q1 be contributing to bottom line.

So how much could they make in Vegas? Here's something to chew on. Gaming revenues consistently average 8 times the traffic in food/beverage/lodging. Now, operating margins on the mature operations are running about 20-25%.

Even at the current paltry Food/Beverage/Lodging traffic level of $489,000 (remember, they were remodeling last qtr), they have enough traffic in there right now to contribute $4.4MM sales per qtr, and $0.04-$0.05 per share earnings.

PREDICTIONS
* Once the market sees this unfold, at the current multiple, NV should initially add $2.00 to the price of the common. End of first Q of 99, this with other developments will take us to $5.50-$6.00.

* The 4th Q won't get much relief from NV, and eastern biz is historically slow. There may be some buying oppty's once euphoria about earnings loses its glow.

Comments??

By the way, I am not affiliated with MNTG in any way other than I own alot of stock in it. Have a good day."
