Although Zap cancelled the dividend to it shareholders saying they will use the $ to buy back ZAP shares they are not required by law to do so. In fact the buy back program was announced this past July and wen the dividend cessation was announced not a single share had been bought back ! This despite the company saying they have more than $400 million they are trying to figure out what to do with.. Don't be surprised if they use the shareholders dividend to pay for the legal costs to defend themselves from shareholder lawsuits.... IMHO..
