I like to use 22 for the time period. My comment was with regards to the 2 year weekly chart that I was talking about. Also, the weekly MACD recently gave a buy signal. Weekly charts (for some stocks and industries) are more reliable when trying to see the longer term picture. You are absolutely right about closing above the band all together today. So the good time should keep on rolling. In fact, we've been outside the band since last Friday. This is rather rare.
