there are a handful of competitors besides going direct to a manufactures site. Off the top of my head, there is stuff.com, wal-mart, and another shopping site I can't recall at the moment. As far as being another Amazon, possibly, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Their revenues aren't nearly what Amazon does. Something about buying books over the internet seems a lot more feasible at this point than what CyberShop offers. perhaps, and I'm hoping on it in the future when people grow accustom to buying on the net like they do on the shoppers channels on T.V., this could be a potential monster. From what I gather, I think they are working on getting their name out there by alliances and advertisements(though I haven't seen any yet) and getting a customer base to do repeat purchases as well as new customers. This stock has been on fire lately, and attracts longs looking for more, as well as shorts trying to scavenge for a drop in price. I don't know what the following weeks have in store for the stock price. I sold off some of my position recently to secure some profits, but I'm still holding about half of what I bought, and have a GTC stop in at 7-1/2 in the event that is drifts south in the near future. IMO, the real story will begin with Q4 earnings/ revenues(they, like most start up companies are still in the red). A while to wait, but with the shopping season fast approaching, and new system in place to handle the anticipated influx of new orders. If you haven't gone to their site yet, you should check it out at cybershop.com, and see for yourself what they have to offer. Last I knew, they were offering some 80,000 items with the intention of adding along the way.
