Doug - you're assuming the other pending investigations aren't going to find anything.

It's hard for a leopard to change his spots; liars don't just all of a sudden stop lying, nor can they always be effective at reaching back to hide or make alterations to evidence or to intimidate witnesses.

A few months from now, after the glow of the supposed victory has faded, the hangover headache of a morally bankrupt "leader" of the free world is going to make Democratic leaders come to a hard choice - continue to support him (economically) or push the funds into trying to keep the White House a Democratic institution for Gore. If they abandon Gore and go for saving their own skins, recovering the control of the House and Senate, old Al will drift in the wind.

Tough choices when your leader has abandoned principles to defend his own personal misbehavior.

Mr. K.

Doug,

Well the electorate have spoken and the Republicans are in a stew of their own making. The zeal with which they pursued the intimate details of the presidents conduct has backfired on them.

The Un-Christian right is very upset with Newt and the boys for not delivering more Republicans to the congress. It looks like they are asking for Newt's head.

This should be a lot of fun to watch as they tear into to each other for a change.

Newt has confessed to being out of step with the modern news media. He says he only remembers the impeachment proceeding of the 70's and that he did not expect the news media to dwell on the sexual life of the president until the electorate became nauseated.
It ruined their chances for gaining seats in the congress,

It is turning out about the way I originally expected.

The hypocritical, self-righteous blockheads got it wrong again!

Regards,

Jim Kelley
