Bre-X stock kept going higher. Bre-X must have been doing something right.

PressTek stock kept going higher. PressTek must have been doing something right.

The answer is that the stock price for any given company often does not have anything to do with its underlying fundamentals.

Remember, nearly every brokerage kept a "buy" rating on Boston Chicken until the day it declared bankruptcy.

The stock price and the company are no longer connected. It has been that way for a long time. AMZN has done nothing right.
