Y2K...Y10K

Another example of short thinking...They do talk about 4 rather than 5,6, or a lot more digits...come on guys...think big...add a LOT, NOW

It is almost beyond comprehension that something that is little more than a data entry problem--to save space, standard coding practice of the past relied on two digits instead of four to represent years

But hey, no problem....only...

it could cause Russia's early warning system to malfunction, which might lead to a nuclear accident.

But they have a solution...remember grade school...you show me yours and I'll show you mine...NOT..

'Don't worry, you can look at ours,'" says Deputy Secretary of Defense John Hamre.

Capitol Records on Broadcast.com: Capitol Records and Broadcast.com (BCST) said Wednesday they will create a music site on the Web together.
The channel will be hosted on the Broadcast.com Web site and will showcase free audio and video programming from Capitol Records artists and its family of labels.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Broadcast.com will license and stream full-length music videos and live events from Capitol artists on the co-branded channel. Broadcast.com will also create CD "Listening Parties" and offer "CD-lettes," which will consist of four songs from a chosen artist's CD. The idea is to get surfers to listen, then buy.
