I'm afraid Bill they lost a little more than the expectations game. The last time an out of power party lost house seats in an off year election was 1934 .The political cycle gave them a tremendous head start and they lost most of it. If what you say is true then one would expect to see the impeachment process move along at full speed. Want to bet. Opps...

Well, they didn't really win, because you are ignoring that for the next two years, with such a slim majority, they can't push their agendas as was obvious with the outcome of the latest budget. They might have a majority and leadership, etc., but they can't get anywhere with it.
