I agree that the attitude of the top management of a retail location has a tremendous effect on the attitude of the subordinate employees.

I also agree (with Bill) that no matter how good the top management is of a corporation, there will still be a few rotten apples in the barrel. You cannot judge a company by one store, and therefore by one location manager.

I, some time back, assumed the management of a small retail establishment, and subsequently had to fire every employee of the previous management because of the attitudes instilled by the previous manager.

I would encourage you to visit more than one location before making a firm decision on the company as a whole.
