Giraffe : Always a problem with derived technical information, especially where time-related functions are concerned, like stochastics. One can produce any set of curves one wishes to, as you suggest, simply by changing the periods being averaged.

Why I like the digisys stochastics is that (a) they are constant and they are there for all to see and (b) the tops and bottoms of the major cycles have generally coincided with actual movements in the POG. As you can verify for yourself.

Hence my suggestion that POG is very bearish --- the present cycle virtually replicates the previous one where the top DID preceed a significant downturn.
