You just answered most of your questions, look back at your post. The christmas season & back to school efforts will reflect in the last quarter which in turn usually gives a rise in january/february. I've followed this stock for years and usually get in around now or when it reaches prices below 2.50 per share. God Bless.......

Hills Stores Reports Sales Results forOctober November 5, 1998 08:52 AM CANTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 5, 1998--Hills Stores Company HDS today announced that store sales for the four-week period ended October 31, 1998, decreased by 9.7 percent compared with last year. Chaim Y. Edelstein, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Hills, commented, "October sales were very disappointing. We have revised and refocused our advertising and promotional programs in November and December to be much more aggressive. We expect these initiatives, combined with our traditional holiday strengths in several key categories, will turn sales momentum around."
