supply would go up but people that work for free wouldn't go up as much. those so inclined already donate their time (keeping current costs down). when others do the same thing and get paid well, they will have to pay well to attract new people, then the old people will get paid well too. costs go up yet discrimination will continue.

there is no such thing as a free market. everything is controlled to a degree. the question is degree. i would like to see competition for the public schools. lets give vouchers based on need. we could phase it in as not to create a wave of havoc that a wholesale voucher move would cause.

maybe the poorest 2% to start. see what the impact is and raise the bar as we need to. but, this wouldn't help the rich and middle class, would it.

that is what this is all about. let's be honest. why do doctors want to limit enrollment to medical school? to limit supply. the fact is that people like what is in their self interest - be it free market or other.

i'm merely sticking up for the interests of other people. sure, i'd like a tax break, too. just not off the backs of the less fortunate.
