If you have to cheat to win, then you deserve to lose:

If you think superior product along could give your company success, then think again. In this industry, nothing is without a given. When you make deals with other companies, you needs to have some bargain chips.

Netscape can make deals without threatening to destroy other companies.
Oracle can make deals without threatening to destroy other companies.
Sun can make deals without sabotaging other company's products.
Yet poor helpless Microsoft can't make a deal without doing any of the above?

I'm sure Microsoft could have come up with some bargaining chips other than "we will destroy Apple if they don't help us destroy Netscape" or "let's manipulate the OS to hurt our competitors products."
