Give ASND 6 months, you have not seen their growth yet. FYI, ASND grew their revenues 40% last quarter, without the help of routers and without at least 10% more deferred revenues, and delayed revenues from NTT.

FYI,ASND is projected to grow their revenues 60% next year to 2.3 billion. CSCO is projected to grow their revenues 30%(mainly due to their size: Elephant can not run.)

Don't forget the Routers as they exist are mainly for DATA network(send and pray) without QOS.

Next generation network should be able to deliver Voice/Video/Data with QoS guarantee, with carrier signaling and good network management.

ASND is focusing on this area with multiservice approach. CSCO is betting heavily on IP. They are definitely lagging in multiservice segments. Pure IP for this purpose, is very difficult to predict, unless one of the major carriers actually DEPLOY the IP for that purpose and deliver.

Currently they are selling BFR(GSR, whatever) to simply relieve the internet data congestion as the demand is exploding for the internet. But the next generation demands more than this.

Watchfully waiting for the developments.
