*AV*--You CYMI question has me perplexed. I would think CYMI should be in a strong recovery mode since ASMLF has performed and the need for DUV systems is growing stronger every day. Yet, both DPMI and PLAB are retracing some of their previous gains as their outlook for the next quarter do not look real good. No retciles and masks would indicate a slowing of the newer steppers since they would require new tooling, for the most part (advanced devices) and new critical layer tooling. Now, in all of this, go figure why WFR, which was at 3 a few weeks ago, has tripled to almost 9. this would indicate more wafers are to be sold or recognition that this $24 IPO stock is secerely undervalued.

CYMI is providing enabling technology and should be performing. It is not. It may have to do with the lower projections of stepper business coming out of Nikon and Canon. Having not gone to sleep yet, I reserve the right to come up with a more coherent response down the road.<GGG>

PLSIA just got FDA approval to use the laser on kids. Just a flash from the past as I was typing this reply and listening to CNBC in the background. Information not recommendation. PLSIA CEO on CNBC right now.

CSCO - really talking it up but with caveats. So there may not be a story there.
