Marshall:

With all due respect, I never really understood why people use the threads to notify one another of PMs. My computer notifies me by making the "inbox" red on my bookmark page. Most people own more than one stock and thus return to their bookmark front page and one also goes through it with every log-on to SI. I really do not care if Joe X or Y has a PM from Joe Z, and personally find such notices annoying because they waste more people's time clicking than the recipient would spend going back to his bookmark page (which he/she would be doing anyway). That is one of the purposes of PM in the first place.

I respect your right to post as you choose, but now you (and others) know there is another opinion on this matter.

Regards,

Howard

OFF SUBJECT BUT BRIEF AGAIN:

Webmistress said that one word posts were automatically rejected (by computer assumed)

I am sorry that I mentioned vulgarities. I did not mean to be unkind to those who thus express themselves.

My other post was written before I caught up with previous posts, such as Jim's and Gary's. Are not most of us a bit on edge because of MIDL? I just woke up to the fact that I too have lost a bit of my famous calm, cool, and collected trait.

However, God will see me through this. Just how and when? But He always has helped me through serious problems. Let's walk hand in hand and stop for a hug now and then.

I would never have said this when I was younger. But I am not young anymore. I often think how stupid my post must seem. I am trying to share a mutual love which has taken almost 72 years to learn and share.

My life Bible verse: Psalms 37:25 in my own words. I once was young but now am old, yet my eye has not seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. Goes back to childhood memories of standing in bread lines in San Francisco as well as the present.

God says: "Is there anything too hard for me?" (even MIDL)

Best...fini,

Marshall W
