Swifttrade in Toronto presently offers services for US daytrading but I understand that they are working on getting a TSE daytrading service set up. I don't have any more details so I suggest people call the office if they are interested.

Keith , that was the whole idea behind what i wrote ...
to kevins post:

**I think what it comes down to is lack of competition due to lack of population base. The States is different simply because the market is so much bigger and there are so many more people to draw commissions on, which in turn sparks the competition.**

FWIW i think that if that guy which Chief dig out make a good job ,
then some of bigger and FASTER trading companies from Us get the idea that the market up here is not that small and is worth to get in ..
as chief mentioned earlier -- "the one who moves first will have
all market".

to me is the same to whom i pay the commission if it is canadian bank ,canadian trading company or us trading company as long as i get "good service for good money" and if canadian banks are not willing
or able to make improvements and recognise day trading for what it is
then it is too bad for them because given a chance i will switch for
good service in a minute .

A word of caution on Datek, if you read the Datek thread they are having massive technical problems right now.

Hey Keith, take a look at PVM,V. It looks as though house 78 is dumping big time. Maybe a big cross coming. May have something to do with the news they released earlier this week. Whatta think?

PS after IWM was dumped and my stop loss kicked in it went up over .60 cents. Is this legal or what?

On swifttrade - It was on venture tonight and they showed a young guy named Kieth looking to get a Franchise just outside Toronto.

His name was keith but it was not Massey. Anyone see the that episode???
