tekgk -- precisely...

Isn't that the historical result of bubbles? Liquidity is massively injected to avoid trauma -- is vested toward inappropriate vehicles -- further resulting in larger bubbles. The participants with awareness are willing to tolerate the discrepancy because it represents opportunity.

Previously unavailable money has been created for the Japanese, and that which already existed has increased in value. Of course, as wealth is distributed to pre-empt monetary/debt chaos, value is redefined.

Short and sweet: we know what's happening, yet can't predict amplitude. Even those who aren't greedy (and adhere to systematic action) attempt to pad against disaster -- and shift behavior. That's why I admire folks like GZ who (in the face of global reality) stick with the routine IMHO.

Regards,
Alan

tek,
>>A good general rule is that whenever a cut in central bank rates results in an increase in bond rates look out below for that currency.

Well, the USD did lose much weight.

>>Another good general rule is that when a currency crumbles equity markets often follow the currency down, but with a delay.

Do you have a scale for that delay? Weeks? months?

BTW, have you already IPOed your Internets?
