Hello Bob

My read of the DMW situation is that the market does not trust an investment in that play. They essentially operate in war zones and open ocean by the grace of God, force of arms and who know what under the table.

Their association with Executive Outcomes and now Sandline smacks of international intrigue and potential legal and political complications which are three issues which most investors especially conservative Canadian senior citizens typically do not highlight as preferred investment criteria.

Despite their attractive assets (Angola & Namibia) I would not take a position in DMW as they do not have what I consider to be amongst the most important criteria in the junior diamond mining sector, hard rock operations or prospects in a politically stable and geologically prospective location/Country.

I also do not have any sense of confidence that what comes out of their sluice boxes always ends up in their auctions or if you prefer on the company's bottom line.

On the other hand, while it is still early days, you may find this one interesting:

TNK secures additional Botswana diamond exploration licence

TORONTO, Nov. 4 /CNW/ - TNK Resources Inc. today announced that it has
secured a new three-year exploration licence from the Government of Botswana
contiguous to the north east licence of the Company's Gope prospect. The area
covered by the licence was relinquished by De Beers, as required under the
mining laws of Botswana.
''The new licence allows TNK to continue with the exploration programs
that have been so successful for us on this new ground,'' said TNK President
and CEO Elizabeth Kirkwood. ''We feel that the licence area holds great
potential for the discovery of new diamondiferous kimberlite pipes.''
TNK has already discovered four diamondiferous kimberlite pipes on the
Gope Prospect and is currently conducting mini-bulk sampling with De Beers,
the world's largest diamond producer. TNK will initially carry out a program
of soil sampling and geophysical surveying, similar to the program which
resulted in the earlier discoveries.
Botswana, a stable, multi-party democracy, is the largest producer of gem
quality diamonds in the world, from three mines, all operated by De Beers. The
Gope Diamond Prospect covers approximately one million acres in the centre of
southern Africa's Kaapvaal Craton, the geological formation that hosts the
producing diamond mines in Botswana and South Africa. TNK has held the rights
to explore this prospect since 1993.
TNK Resources Inc. is a Canadian junior mining company involved in
mineral exploration around the world. The company's efforts are focused on
diamond exploration in Botswana, the world's largest producer of diamonds.
Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, the company's common shares are traded on
the Canadian Dealer Network under the symbol TNKR, and on the NASD Bulletin
Board under the symbol TNKRF.
