Now wait a second. I see significant parallels between Jesse "The Body" Ventura and the three Musketeers of Herb Greenburb, Howdy Dooty, and Michael "I am a respected journalist" Brush. Jesse worked undercover during Vietnam. The Three Musketeers worked under covers--Rocky was compensated for his posts, Vanni Resta was the split personality of respected journalist Michael Brush, and Herb was pimping himself not the facts. Jesse wore feminine boas and feathers. These three are a combination of snake and turkey. Jesse was renown for his heavy duty body slams on his opponents. The thwee Musketeers were renown for their heavy duty slams on Iomega. Jesse was trained as a SEAL. The other three are trained parrots--constantly blathering the same pack of lies trying to destroy an American company that had risen from the ashes to become the fastest growing provider of computer peripherals ever. ("Wocky want a Kwacka"?)Jesse's job was to invade a foreign country and destroy key elements of its infrastructure, The three obligate intracellular parasites named Greenbugger, Vannisfanny, and RockaTockaLotta**** existed only to invade and destroy Iomega. But as Dr. Sheila can tell us, obligate intracellular parasites are viruses who can only live off of living material. They cannot exist by themselves--kind of like obsessive compulsive withdrawl in the world of microbiology. Ultimately Jesse found work as an entertainer. If observing obsessive compulsion in the world of microminds on a day to day basis is entertaining, then Rocky surely was an entertainer. On the other hand, Jesse is a real man who despite his educational "limitations" can become a truly excellent governor. Indeed, the last time I recall such sarcasm expressed about the qualifications of a newly elected governor was when a certain salesman for Twenty Mule Team Borax became governor of California. Like Jesse, all he had was some goofy thing called "principals". That man of profound principal went on to become (along with FDR), one of the two truly great Presidents of the 20th century. The attraction of Iomega is that it is the "little guy's" company that never quits, learns how to reinvent itself, and will continue to grow and survive. Sort of like Jesse Ventura. PS No more posts for me until March 1, when we shall see whether Rocky Reid will honor his word, and (per terms of our recent bet) confirm or deny whether he has been compensated in any form whatsoever to post on the various SI Iomega threads. Good luck and Good Health to all.
