Toy -
How many of those 79 million licensed clients are simultaneously licensed for an NT server in the same network? 100%? 99.99875%? and how many clients exist for NT which have no netware server?

The number of servers sold is not a good factor to use since 1 NetWare server can service 1000+ users concurrently and it would take 4-5 NT servers to provide the same performance levels.
I think you are talking about file and print again. NT servers routinely service much larger numbers of clients in application support roles - 3000+ on a medium sized NT database application is not unusual.

So depending on what we are measuring, the numbers can look quite different. How many Netware servers are required to give the same back-end support to an SAP installation as one NT server? The answer - no matter how many Netware servers you put on the job, you will never match the performance of one NT server, no matter how small the NT server is, since Netware can't do the job.
