New to this thread, and I like what I see. I've done very well lately on NCT (sold today with bad press), CIEN, IOM and (hopefully) LSN next week.

There are two Canadian stocks which are set to rise considerably over the next week. One is PNL-Alberta ($.80) when it announces closing of private placement to buy Granigroup, Canada's largest stone company...deal will close Dec. 1. Should go to $1.50 within days and $3.50-$4.00 Dec. and $6.00+ by end of 99. I am very close to this one.

The other, which is just starting to move is CKK (Canada Brokerlink)...more activity on TSE than Alberta(check out CKK.to Yahoo) Here's their latest press release for TSE listing - good volume yesterday and today it's up $0.30 in a down market, perhaps due to its being featured in latest issue of Buy Low/Sell High which is currently in mail to subscribers:
biz.yahoo.com

Will check out other picks on this board..while most of my holdings are long term, I have a nice little cushion to day trade as well and am always looking for a point or two daily return.

Good trading - and good thread,
NOK
