I like E*Trade the best too, free checking, free real-time quotes, E*Trade web community, etc. They've come a long way the past few years. If you get in on the TV offer that ends Dec. 31st, E*Trade gives you $50 free. Free money?? Can't beat that.

Ameritrade is having horrible system problems in the past few months.

Another good thing about Etrade, you can download directly into Quicken, so no manual input necessary. Don't know of any other broker that has that capability.

E*Trade is good, but too many bells & whistles. I feel I am paying
for them, when I only want to trade. Not familar with the others though, so I'll stick with E*trade for now.
