To All,

Thanks for your insightful comments about BroadVision. I have a trusted friend that just started working at BroadVision and I figured that if he's betting his career on the success of the company its worth a little of my time to check this stock out and potentially buy in for a few hundred shares.

My pro observations thus far:
- the company is actually profitable
- there is a sizable customer base
- they have money in the bank to grow by development or by acquisition if they choose
- net market is booming, yada, yada

Con observations ...
- Guys that build tech products shouldn't run tech companies (see VONE)
- The P/E is outrageous (512, on trailing 4 quarters)
- And David, you raise a great point ...

>> developing one to one e commerce is actually not that difficult. I am wondering how much the patents play in competition trying to invade BVSN's market dominaance. Anyone have any comments or thoughts on this?

What would keep a company from swooping in and developing a substitute product for BVSN?

BTW, I am a SONE holder too and I didn't like the stock swap thing either.
