To DaveMG: Like you, I hope this change of location for announcement is not an omen. But given the Gates passion for control, looks like it may well be. Hope the Q is not stuck on tar baby. To me, there are two questions re MSFT involvement. The first is that lying down with the lion is great in religious symbolism but dangerous in the real world. Cited Citrix (which I also follow) as an example of a possible success in this - so far rpt so far. Know of no other re MSFT. Second is use of CE which seems to be clunky compared to Java and less likely to win out generally than Java based systems. But this is from a tech nonwiz. Curious what wizs here think re this. Chaz

"It was supposed to look like MSFT coming to Q. Now the tables have been turned. Hope this is no Omen.. " No worries! You can look at it like that, or, you can think of it that QUALCOMM has invaded the actual HQ of Microsoft. Sort of like my QCP820 has invaded New Zealand and is sending out secret signals back to San Diego. We are right in the heart of the Mighty Microsoft now and about to take it over. The Q! owns the vital IP. Microsoft only has marketing power, cash and of course some useful software. Our IP is the DNA seed which will sprout and feast on the cash and marketing power-grow provided by MSFT. Sort of like the energy of mitochondria were co-opted into energy production for our DNA systems to do their amazing work. In the end, neither is really taking over the other. It is synchronicity, synergy, symbiosis. SSS! Kachiiinggggg! Mqurice
